It was
freaking 180 degrees out! But it was a dry heat. I had heard of Elderflower for
drinks, many of which are made with Sparkling Wine, and/or Rosemary. I expected
it to be a dry, more savory taste. Tena bought some and it turned out to be
sweet and very refreshing! For tonight’s
cocktail I Googled Tequila, Elderflower Liqueur and Key Lime. Elderflower Margarita Margarita’s popped up. Oven on high hot outside and a Margarita, of
course!!!
3 oz St. Elder Elderflower Liqueur
2 oz Fresh Lime Juice (in this
case Key Limes, yum!)
1 ½ oz Simple Syrup
Tejen for the rim of the glass
Rim the glasses with the cut lime and then the Tajin and then fill them with ice.
Fill a shaker with ice, add all
the ingredients. Shake until the shaker
is to cold to hold and strain the contents into the glasses.
